Design technology, which has the ability to transform scientific knowledge into a product, is gained first and the production of the designed product is possible only when production technology is obtained as a result of R&D studies. Alu Metal R&D center has carried out studies to increase the number of R&D studies and to produce original projects that meet the product demands of sectors such as automotive, machinery, rail systems, defense industry, aerospace industry. R&D studies have intensified in these periods by transferring the experiences gained on subjects such as Developed Mold, Machining and Laser cutting to the products that will be created by combining the produced parts. In order to produce a new product and to be different in the market, it is necessary to increase research and development (R&D) activities and invest in R&D. Intensive work carried out within the body of Alu Metal in this regard has been an important factor in opening up to foreign markets, and the company's exports have reached appreciable levels over the years.

All these developments are seen as successes achieved through R&D studies. Apart from these, some university lecturers also work on a project basis and consultancy services are provided. Products were tried to be protected by patents, utility models, industrial designs and trademark registrations. For the promotion of R&D projects, domestic and international fair studies have been started and forward-looking strategies have been adopted on these issues.
